Warehouse Game

Students will experience the challenges of running a distribution center for a week, in just 90 minutes. The main challenge in this simulation is to achieve the goals of receiving and dispatch at the lowest possible cost.

COURSES IN WHICH THE WAREHOUSE GAME IS USED:

Operations Management, Optimization & Logistics

During the simulation, each team will manage a distribution center for one week.
They will make at least three decisions per simulated day: define the number of workers hired, assign and reassign workers in different areas of the distribution center, and prioritize areas in the workflow.

This allows the professor to discuss the winning strategies with the class live right after the simulation run. I learned how to use these charts and graphs from the support representative.
