Gamification continues to gain ground in education and training during 2019
Our COO, Bárbara Achondo, was recently invited to an interview on the LabCafé radio program of Radio Zero to expose the new avant-garde in technologies both in the educational field and in that of corporate training.
Within this platform, she exposed the digital transformation in the classrooms as a catalyst for change to issues in the educational realm. Whereby learning through gamification comes to solve these problems and offers a much more effective method of learning in a risk-free environment where errors are a considerable advantage.
Context
Recently, researchers from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC) and the Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV), have evaluated the impact that educational simulators have on university students’ learning, where the researchers explained that, “with this type of online learning methodology, we train students in the skills that the labor market then demands, such as knowing how to manage a conflict or how to work in a team”.
